Since the start of quarantine, I’ve been saying we’ve all been sent to our rooms to think about our behaviors and choices and how we’re showing up in the world.

One by one, week by week, you’ve been given more and more opportunity to reflect over different aspects of your live and how we’re showing up, taking responsibility for what you’re bringing to the world, and taking an honest look at how you are showing up for yourself, others, and your community.

It started with a look at how you’re showing up for your body and health, and what personal responsibility are you taking to ensure your Immunity is intact for whatever may pop up unexpected.

The fact is you’ve always walked around at risk, not knowing what invisible things you are exposing yourself to, only now it’s been pushed to the forefront and you have to face it.

When its tucked away and you can physically keep going, it’s easy to do just that…keep going as is and to put off changes to another day.

You’ve been given the chance to reflect on what you’ve been doing to ensure people making decisions for you in government locally and federally and in your schools make choices that support the world you desire to live in and raise your kids in and pass down to your grandkids.

The choices we make in our current society today will affect all of us and them years from right now. So, are the choices you’re making based on where you’re going or are they based on what you’re feeling in the moment? Are you involved in the process or do you want to be but just don’t ever feel like looking into it all? Are you waiting to be given permission to do what feels like the right thing for you?

And throughout all of this, you’ve been given the chance to reflect on how you judge others and treat them based on preconceived notions. Over the past couple of weeks, this awareness has risen to the surface and will not be ignored any longer. And regardless of how you were showing up in life before, now is the time to reflect, get honest, and step into the next level of integrity.

We are the leaders the world needs right now. Leadership begins with leading yourself. It’s about ownership and taking responsibility for how you show up in the world and what you consume-physically, emotionally, spiritually-is your responsibility, and how well you educate, nourish and advocate for yourself directly affects how well you are able to nourish and advocate for others.

One of the 5 main energy themes for 2020 that I predicted would make itself known throughout this year is that you’ll be asked to step into the next level of integrity.

I’m here to say, that’s exactly what all this disruption is about.

By each one of us committing to be more proactive, more of an advocate for ourselves and others that are journeying through this human experience along with us, and by embracing a more effective form of communication that allows for a bigger story and truth to rise to the surface through how things appear on the surface, we have the power individually and collectively to heal the world, and co-create one that we all desire to be a part of.
