As a mom, I try to get everything right all the time. No matter how much I’d LOVE to never overlook a thing, it happens far more often than I’d prefer or intend. Like yesterday for example…it was only AFTER I dropped my daughter at school that I realized I’d missed the principal’s note on it being spirit week, and I had sent my fashion-and-holiday-loving child to school in her usual get up instead of her most festive wear ??? #momfail ?

So I did the next best thing…thanks to a decision I made 14 years ago to work for myself, I was able to surprise her at lunch with a special treat AND I brought her holiday gear to change into so she could finish the day in spirit ?☺❤

As soon as she saw me at school…she cried ? …she was so happy to see me ??? …and when I told her I brought her holiday stuff to wear, she cried more happy tears ?????????
