The Power of Belief: 5 Ways to Strengthen Me, You and Others

We’ve all been given a mighty tool in order to succeed in this life. Like many of the best things in life, this tool is given to us naturally, cannot be bought, does not have any limiting guidelines based on race, gender, age or social status, and is more powerful than anything I can think of in this moment. Although all of us have it, many of us leave it behind early on in life, discarding it, and failing to see its value. In fact, many well-intended teachers, parents, and loved ones actually encourage us to dismiss it, claiming to be looking out for our own good in their pursuit to not have to deal with the emotions of watching us fail or be disappointed in life. The limitless, powerful tool I’m referring to is the power of belief.

In my past blog Believe It, Receive It I discussed how our beliefs create our reality. Today I bring to you further evidence that I recently discovered about the power of belief. While attending Isagenix’s annual Celebration in Phoenix last month, I was blessed with the opportunity to see a presentation by Jack Canfield, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, star of the movie The Secret, and personal development guru. While on stage, Jack brought up a member from the audience for a powerful demonstration that instantly created a shift in me by deepening my understanding of the power of belief. Through using a technique I was introduced to over a decade ago called muscle testing, Jack proved to a room of 5,000 people that what we believe has the power to literally strength or weaken our physically bodies. Not only that, our bodies react even stronger (or weaker) to what others believe about us!

This insight and awareness broadened my perspective on how to contribute to others, along with how others can contribute to me. I can see now that one of the most powerful things I contribute to your life is my belief in you. I believe you are God’s love expressed on this earth, purposeful and perfect, that you are overflowing with limitless potential, and fully equipped to succeed in life. I believe this inside and out, backwards and forwards, forever and always. No matter what you believe about life or yourself, no matter what you believe is possible for you, I believe you are deserving and powerful beyond measure. The first thing you see when you visit my website HolisticRestoration.com is my statement of belief. If I know nothing else, I believe this to be true.

On the flip side of this, I also now realize the power of your belief in me. I see how your continued support and belief in myself and my mission to teach the world how to love itself has been a powerful part of the impact I’ve had changing the lives of others so far in my journey. As I continue forward on my journey supporting others in unlocking their physical, emotional and spiritual potential through my services of therapeutic massage, nutritional cleansing & replenishing, life coaching and spiritual guidance, I will freely offer my service of belief, and also ask for yours in return. If you are not in a position (physically, emotionally or spiritually) to invest in yourself by hiring me for my services, I ask for you to invest your belief in my mission and services. I am blessed and honored, and graciously receive any belief you can send my way. I appreciate your support, for I could not do any of this without you. You matter so greatly.

Here’s five ways you can show your support to me or others that cost you nothing but your time and consideration:

1-Tell me! In person, through email, a brief Facebook post, or make a quick phone call simply stating “I believe in you” anytime you find out what someone is passionately up to.

2-Tell someone else. I don’t know who you may know, so likely they don’t know me. Help speak the mission into existence by sharing it with others who you feel my benefit from or also help to support the mission of another.

3-Combine your power of belief with your active imagination. When the mission crosses your mind, when you witness a need for its existence, take a moment to visualize that mission helping those in need.

4-Contribute. Share your thoughts with me on how or who you feel can benefit from me continuing my mission. I believe everything we need in life comes through other people. Your thought or idea could make all the difference in me seeing my vision through.

5-Become part of my “why.” Let me know what I can believe in for you. I believe by continuing on my journey I naturally create the space for others to continue on theirs. If you have a dream I may support, be sure to share it with me :)

  1. The Power of Belief was one of my early and huge AHA’s on this wonderful adventure I call Living Love. It came from, of all people. my parents…who for most of my life I believed I had failed in just about every way, and had no idea that they had always believed in me and had never stopped. It is my absolute pleasure and honor, now, to be able to pay this forward in my work and play. Thank you for expressing this powerful principle so beautifully, Crissy. I love the way you share Love!

  2. I believe in you! I believe in your mission! I’m so happy to be part of what you are up to in the world! We are blessed by you fulfilling your purpose. thank you!
